Pros and cons of Snagfilms app for iPhone and iPad

Snagfilms app good for

I just viewed two great movies. One romantic one and a thriller. I cant believe this app is free, but it is and so are the many many movies. Sure they are independent but they are not lightweight. Engaging and thrilling ! Excellent acting. Many should be on the big screen!

The content is excellent, so many good movies and documentaries. And the bonus is that you can stream from your iOS device to Apple TV. The one thing that would be really nice to fix is to keep the movie playing when your devices screen locks.

Good selection, minimal ads, and nearly always works smoothly. Absolutely worth downloading.

Great app - Huge and eclectic range of movies and a brilliant choice of documentaries at your fingertips, literally. Nice to get away from mainstream tedium and a little closer to the fringe. Viewing interrupted every 15min or so by ads, which is a bit of a bummer, but understandable on a free platform.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this movie app. Would strongly recommend it!

Downloaded this app recently; and just browsing I was quite impressed by the selections. I look forward to spending my spare time enjoying the movies and documentaries.

Some bad moments

This app needs a major overhaul. When I tried to register I got error messages, when i tried to report the issue there was no "send" button on the message, and when I viewed a film as a guest, there are constant commercial interruptions which dont go back to the film. You have to continue by going back to the category menu and reclicking the films icon. Finally, in the middle of the film the screen went entirely black and wont restart at all. An absolute disaster. Im trashing the app immediately. Not recommended.

I had to watch a video for a class, I couldnt play it on safari and so it prompt me to install the app in my phone so I did. When I went to search the same movie in the app the search came with no results

I agree, this locks up constantly, unless they fix this bug it is not worth downloading.

Doesnt have any movie worth watching, most currant movie is from the 80s, never heard of it and its in another language

This app is full of problems. But using a browser on their website is no better. Obviously this service is not for IOS at least, maybe not for anyone. Too bad because they have some good films. One more app to APP SCRAP PILE for me!! I wish they would let me have zero stars in these reviews.

When the commercials are finished the movie became blurry and a lot of commercials
